Head Cam!

Here at Toast Film, apart from loving weddings we also love video cameras, so when we find anything slightly different, remotely connected to weddings and video – we feel we have to share it!

This blog features Robert and with the help of this friends, he used a camera called a GoPro Hero2 to capture his proposal to his girlfriend Quinn.

Now, we wont bore you with the technical aspects of the GoPro, but essentially it is a little camera which can be mounted anywhere. It is normally used for extreme sports or to get an angle in those difficult-to-reach places and this chap wears it on his head.

Wedding Ring Found on Carrot!

Missing for 16 years!

A Swedish woman has discovered her wedding ring on a carrot growing in her garden, 16 years after she lost it! Lena Paahlsson had long ago lost hope of finding the ring, which she designed herself.

The white-gold band, set with seven small diamonds, went missing in her kitchen in 1995. Although the ring no longer fits, she hopes to have it enlarged so she can wear it again.

Not So “Blushing Brides”

Outfit by Kaviar Gauche

The revealing wedding outfit was shown by fashion brand Kaviar Gauche at Berlin fashion week yesterday. And judging by its risqué nature, this is one wedding outfit bound for a beach ceremony – or more likely, confined to the privacy of the wedding night.

The revealing garment looks to be made up of a few diminutive sections of fabric joined together with a central strip. The ensemble slips over a barely-there thong bikini brief, and the whole outfit is shrouded in a diaphanous veil.

A Unique Video

For the last few years, couples made their special day (almost) unique by copying coordinated dance routines down the aisle and at the reception, after that one couple did it on YouTube. Now, there’s a whole new “unique” thing everyone is doing: Marryoke.

Marryoke is lip-synch karaoke that a videographer captures your guests performing at different times of the wedding.

Something Blue?

Manchester City fan Karen Bell stunned her equally fanatical husband-to-be Simon by walking down the aisle on their wedding day in a dress made out of old City shirts.

The creative 38-year-old made the dress herself out of Simon’s collection of shirts to ensure she had a unique “something blue” for her big day.
